Hazelnut ice cream Recipe
The recipe for hazelnut ice cream is very simple BUT requires finding the right ingredients.
Italy is full of excellent varieties of hazelnuts so find yourself a more or less toasted hazelnut paste produced in ITALY.
The Turkish pasta variations leave a lot to be desired, avoid them.
Once you have chosen your hazelnut paste you will need to select some toasted and skinned Italian hazelnuts that you like.
The ingredients for a delicious hazelnut ice cream are:
- 550 grams of whole milk
- 200 grams of cream
- 150 grams of sugar
- 100 grams of hazelnut paste
- 50 grams of toasted hazelnuts
We immediately prepare the toasted hazelnuts by turning them into grains…. you can give them a very short blender in the blender, being careful not to turn the pieces into dust or hammer the hazelnuts.
Then blend the milk and cream. sugar and hazelnut paste until everything has melted well and place in your ice cream maker.
Before extracting the ice cream (when you see that it is almost ready) insert the previously made hazelnut grains to obtain a 3D flavour.
Then take out the ice cream and enjoy it!
For presentation you can put more chopped hazelnuts on your hazelnut ice cream.
